The Patriots’ plan didn’t exactly go as planned. They were likely hoping a non-contender would put in a claim and block out the teams that were down on the waiver list. That did not happen. The Seahawks were No. 28 on the waiver list. That means 27 teams passed on Gordon, for one reason or another. But Gordon got what he wanted and that’s to play on a strong team as he‘ll now catch passes from Russell Wilson, which should also free the field up for D.K. Metcalf. Here’s hoping Gordon is healthy and can continue to keep his head on straight and him and Wilson can be a very nice duo.
