Saints RB Mark Ingram is in the concussion protocol

New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram left the game against the Carolina Panthers at the 7:26 mark of the third quarter after appearing to take a blow to the helmet.

He is under concussion protocol, the team announced at the start of the fourth quarter.

Ingram had just gained 13 yards when he collided with Carolina Panthers safety Kurt Coleman. Ingram appeared to go limp before hitting the ground, as played immediately waved to the sidelines for trainers.

Ingram walked to the sideline under his own power.

Fantasy Impact:

Since it was a Thursday night game, Ingram has a few extra days to recover before Week 12. Tim Hightower would be a Sneaky Start if Ingram can't play next week.
