Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard "doesn't look promising" for Week 6

Official Panthers injury report doesn’t come out for about an hour but it doesn’t look promising for RB Chuba Hubbard (calf) and RT Taylor Moton (elbow) to play Sunday against the Cowboys. Neither has practiced this week.

Fantasy Impact:

This is setting up as another Dowdle week, and it will come against his former team, who happen to rank 30th in RB aFPA. If Hubbard does miss, lock Dowdle in as a fringe RB1, and even if he doesn't, Dowdle should be considered a top-24 lock.

No Brock Purdy, Ricky Pearsall at today's practice, but Jauan Jennings was back.

Meanwhile, Mac Jones, (ankle, oblique) was on hand but was jogging gingerly between drills and didn't seem to be doing any throwing.

Fantasy Impact:

The 49ers injury list has looked like a scroll to this point in the season but they *do* seem to be getting on the mend. For Week 6, we should treat Jennings as a WR2 against the Buccaneers if he's fully back to health (and Pearsall misses), while Kendrick Bourne makes for an interesting WR3 if both are forced to miss.

49ers QB Mac Jones misses Thursday practice

49ers QB Brock Purdy also not practicing today due to his toe injury, putting Mac Jones on track to start Sunday at Tampa.

Fantasy Impact:

Jones is also dealing with a minor injury, but he looks to be in line to get the start. The Buccaneers actually present a pretty good matchup, which would put him near the top-15 conversation for QB streamers.

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney still day-to-day, will not practice Thursday

Falcons head coach Raheem Morris on wide receiver Darnell Mooney: "Right now, Mooney is still day-to-day. We'll see what that is. He'll be out today. We'll get a good feel for what it looks like moving forward."

Fantasy Impact:

Looks like Mooney will likely be out Week 6, which leaves London/Pitts and Bijan Robinson at the top of the food chain. While the other two are obvious starts, this solidifies Pitts in fringe TE1/2 range.
