Giants starting quarterback Daniel Jones is not practicing Wednesday after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 12.
The Giants are holding out hope that Jones can suit up in Week 13 against the Seahawks but that seems increasingly unlikely the more we hear about his injury. If Jones does end up sitting, Colt McCoy would likely take over under center against Seattle. McCoy starting would downgrade all of the Giants' skill players for fantasy.
The Eagles activated tight end Zach Ertz from injured reserve on Wednesday.
The activation opens up a three-week window where Ertz can practice and eventually return to game action. It remains to be seen whether Ertz will return for Week 13, but the fact that he was trending the right direction last week provides some optimism he will. Dallas Goedert has performed well in Ertz's absence but will take a usage hit whenever Ertz returns.
The Colts activated Jonathan Taylor from the Reserve/COVID list and he is expected to practice Wednesday.
Taylor never tested positive for the virus but was deemed a high-risk close contact with someone who did so he had to sit out last week as part of the league's protocol. Taylor being activated today means he is on track to play Week 13. Taylor returns to a soft matchup against the porous Houston run defense.
