Packers sign RB Ahman Green

To help an offensive backfield ravaged with injuries, the Green Bay Packers dipped into their past on Wednesday, signing running back Ahman Green.

Green, who has been out of the league since Feb. 10 when the Texans released him, replaces Deshawn Wynn, whose season is over after being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. Fullback Korey Hall (calf) is currently sidelined for the Packers and RB Brandon Jackson is playing with a hurt ankle after missing the first four games.
