A source told Ian Rapoport Devonta Freeman (foot) is battling a bone contusion. He didn’t practice Wednesday due to the soreness and his status for Sunday is clearly in doubt. He did do work on the side, though.
If Freeman can't go, it is right back to Tevin Coleman and Ito Smith. When Freeman missed Weeks 2, 3 and 4, Coleman averaged 15 carries, 64 rush yards, three receptions, 19 receiving yards, scored once, and put up 13.3 PPR PPG. Smith averaged 8.9 PPG on 8.3 touches. Keep your ears peeled for updates as the weekend grows nearer.
