Brock Purdy’s toe injury has improved to the point that he will be a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice, Kyle Shanahan said roughly an hour before the session was scheduled to begin.
Related Players: Mac Jones
Purdy still *feels* like a longshot for Week 3, but we didn't expect him back to practice this soon, either. If he's well enough to play, he's well enough to be in lineup consideration, but for now, consider Jones a streaming option in the QB15-18 range until we get more clarity on Purdy.

Dolphins TE Darren Waller, once again, has been ruled out with a hip injury. WR Jaylen Waddle is questionable with a shoulder injury.
Related Players: Tyreek Hill, Malik Washington, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine
Waddle should be fine, but if he misses, Hill will return to fringe WR1 status on the back of a ton of volume. Washington would be more interesting as a WR4 play.

Commanders coach Dan Quinn said that while Jayden Daniels had a good rehab session for his knee sprain, he won't practice until Friday at the earliest. Another sign that Marcus Mariota could very well be starting.
This definitely looks like a Mariota start, which could mean a run-heavy approach. This would make Jacory Croskey-Merrit an RB2 candidate while Deebo Samuel and Terry McLaurin are respective WR2 and WR3s.
