DAL WR Ogletree could fill in for Austin as starter

Kevin Ogletree would seem to be in position to start his second straight game Sunday vs. Washington with Miles Austin tweaking a hamstring injury Sunday at San Francisco and Dez Bryant coming back from a bruised quadriceps suffered in the season opener.

“Obviously we want our best player in our unit, Miles, and our second best player, Dez, to be in there,” Ogletree said, “but when they’re not able to go we’ve got vets that can step up. That’s our jobs as backups.”

Ogletree caught two passes for 50 yards, including a 17-yarder in the fourth quarter that led to Austin’s 25-yard touchdown grab.

By the end of Sunday’s game Ogletree was the Cowboys’ No. 1 receiver.

Fantasy Impact:

Ogletree seems like a guy to target in the waiver wire if you're hurting for WRs. His targets could take a bit of a hit since Dez Bryant is expected back, but he at least seems like a very solid WR2-WR3 option this week against the Redskins on Monday night.
