CB Pacman Jones agrees to two-year Bengals contract

Adam "Pacman" Jones agreed to a two-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, putting the troubled cornerback on a team with a history of giving players second chances.

"There is going to be a two-year deal," Tom Hunter, Jones' agent, told The Associated Press on Thursday night. "It's going to be signed Friday or Monday. We don't have (it) in hand yet, but we will."

A league source told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora that Jones received essentially a veteran-minimum contract with some minor incentives.

Chiefs hopeful to have WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder) for Week 4

Patrick Mahomes and HC Andy Reid say they are confident the Chiefs can continue to be successful on deep passes with Tyquan Thornton running routes alongside Worthy. By Week 7, Mahomes' dropbacks could feature him having a combination of quality options -- such as Travis Kelce, Thornton, Worthy, Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown.

Slowly the Chiefs offense is starting to get healthy and back to what everyone envisioned at the start of the season. Worthy has a chance to play in Week 4 but the team is already saying he'll be limited, so fantasy owners will want to monitor just how much Worthy will play or maybe in what situations.

Titans HC Brian Callahan no longer calling plays

After an ugly start to the season, Titans head coach Brian Callahan has fired himself as the offensive play caller in Tennessee.

The team announced today that quarterbacks coach Bo Hardegree will call plays.

Fantasy Impact:

Titans offensive coordinator Nick Holz will remain in place, an unusual arrangement in which a team has an offensive coordinator but another assistant gets the play calling responsibility, the story points out. Callahan went 3-14 last season and so the leash may be getting shorter for him and his staff.
