Mike Evans was playing his first game since Week 3 when he injured his hamstring.

His return didn’t last long.

The Buccaneers wide receiver was carted off the sideline after stretching out for a deep pass from Baker Mayfield with 5:00 remaining in the first half. Evans had the ball until his shoulder and head hit the ground.

Fantasy Impact:

Evans appeared to be knocked out briefly. He remained on the ground for a while and appeared woozy and in significant pain as athletic trainers helped him off the field. He was ruled out with a concussion and a shoulder injury.

Purdy was limited all last week but didn't play. It looks like Purdy could again be a limited participant in practice this week with the end result up in the air for Week 8's game - which is an early game at Houston on Sunday. The SNF broadcast briefly talked about turf toe injuries and essentially called them unpredictable with good days and bad days in the recovery, and we seem to be seeing that with Purdy.

After missing three games with a hamstring injury, Mike Evans will make his return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lineup on Monday night. Coming into the game with a questionable tag, Evans will be active for the first time in almost a month, sources told CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz.

Furthermore, Emeka Egbuka, who suffered a hamstring injury last week and was also listed as questionable, worked out pregame and will play, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Evans seemed to have a better chance to play, but now both WRs will go on MNF, giving Mayfield a couple of more weapons in what could be a high-scoring game with the Lions.
