Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski dealing with back spasms

Tight end Rob Gronkowski left with back spasms after playing five snaps. Gronkowski had missed four games with injured ribs and Bucs head coach Bruce Arians expressed some regret about having Gronkowski on the field after the game.

“Gronk probably shouldn’t have played either,” Arians said, via Pewter Report. “But he kept begging to get in there. Then he re-injured himself.”

Related players: Cameron Brate, O.J. Howard

Fantasy Impact:

After a huge game against the Eagles a couple of weeks ago, Howard hasn't been a factor with Gronk out of the lineup over the last two weeks. Brate and Howard each only caught two balls in the loss to the Saints in Week 8. The Bucs have a Week 9 bye so we likely won't know much more about Gronk's status for Week 10 until the middle of next week.
