Braylon Edwards unfazed by switch to Anderson

Braylon Edwards didn't seem fazed by the announcement Wednesday that quarterback Brady Quinn was being benched in favor of Derek Anderson in preparation for the game Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

''Coach Mangini made a decision that he felt was the necessary action to be taken,'' Edwards said. ''We haven't played very well the first three games. So I'm sure we can't be any worse.''

The past few years it seems Edwards has developed a better rapport and comfort level with the gun-slinging Anderson than with the short-passing Quinn.

''You know D.A., he's a guy who likes to throw the deep ball, likes to get the ball out,'' Edwards said. ''I like to run deep routes, so it's natural he'd look for me in those situations.''
