Bills TE Tyler Kroft suffered a broken foot on the first day of OTAs

Bills coach Sean McDermott told reporters that starting TE Tyler Kroft suffered a broken foot during yesterday’s OTAs and will need surgery.

Tyler Kroft’s timeframe for recovery is 3-4 months, source said. That puts him right up against the start of the season and raises the possibility of beginning the season on the PUP list.

Fantasy Impact:

Kroft was the designated starter at TE on his new team in Buffalo but was only in streaming consideration heading into the fantasy season. If he misses significant time, Jason Croom will take over as the TE target for sophomore QB Josh Allen.
