Bills Beat: Team trusts RB Devin Singletary

Devin Singletary not only handled 22 of the 23 running back carries but also took 67 of the 70 total running back snaps against Carolina. Matt Breida didn’t get his first offensive snap until midway through the third quarter. His only other two snaps were on the Bills’ two kneeldowns at the end of the game. While the disparity might not be as stark in future games, it’s clear who the Bills trust most to lead their backfield as they enter the final three games.

Fantasy Impact:

For now, Singletary has put his ball-security issues to rest and shown a spark with some chunk plays when the Bills have needed it, the story said. Although coach Sean McDermott wouldn’t label Singletary the featured back, the recent usage means he has graduated from the early-season 1A label and is now just No. 1 ahead of Breida and Moss, the story went on to say. The Bills are still a pass-heavy team but Singletary could have some fantasy value in the fantasy semifinals and finals.
