Bears have no plans to shut down QB Justin Fields

Bears quarterback Justin Fields had his foot stepped on at the end of Saturday’s 35-13 loss to the Bills. He also aggravated his left shoulder injury.

But Fields is “good to go” for Sunday’s game in Detroit, coach Matt Eberflus said. And despite the 3-12 record, there are no plans to shut Fields down for the rest of the season.

Eberflus said the team needs to get better as his reason for keeping Fields on the field. He also added he wants Fields to improve. The Bears conclude their season with two divisional games so it will be a good test to see where the team is at going forward. The Bears play the Lions and Vikings and both teams have given up their share of fantasy points to QBs, especially through the air.
