Primetime DFS Slate Breakdown: Week 6

Primetime DFS Slate Breakdown: Week 6

Our Week 6 Primetime slate gives us three teams at implied team totals of 28-points or more, and, when including all games played this weekend, this primetime slate games project in the top five or higher in pace of play. We have some great leverage spots on this slate, so let's get to it.

Passing Games

Patriots

Tom Brady ($9,000 FD/$6,500 DK) and company opened up as 3.5-point home favorites and have stayed there while the total has risen 2.5 points and is currently at 60. Volume and pace of play for the Patriots will be plenty as the Chiefs rank 29th in aFPA to quarterbacks and have allowed the most passing yards per game this year. There are a lot of mouths to feed in New England: James White ($7,400 FD/$7,000 DK), Chris Hogan ($6,500 FD/$4,100 DK), Phillip Dorsett ($5,300 FD/$3,900 DK), Josh Gordon ($6,800 FD/$5,200 DK), Rob Gronkowski ($8,000 FD/$5,900 DK), Cordarrelle Patterson ($4,700FD/$3,200 DK), and Julian Edelman ($7,300 FD/$6,600 DK). Edelman is perhaps the ultimate floor play on full PPR sites and we saw him return to his original role last week, hogging nine targets and playing 69 percent of his teams snaps. Chris Hogan missed practice on Thursday and definitely took a step back in target share in Week 5. Josh Gordon’s snaps saw a slight bump from 22 percent in Week 4 to 26 percent in Week 5 but he still saw just four targets last week. The Chiefs rank 22nd in aFPA to wide receivers and have allowed a league-high 27 passing plays to go for 20 or more yards, which suits Gordon’s skill set. Rob Gronkowski is perhaps the best play out of this entire group as the Chiefs have been gouged by tight ends with no Eric Berry, allowing the leagues third-highest yards to the position, and just made Niles Paul look like a stud last week.
