DraftKings Week 15 Slate Breakdown with Cash and GPP Picks

Below you'll find my Week 15 DraftKings cash game and tournament strategies. By offering a general approach to the week, along with a player pool to consider, you should walk away feeling well-equipped no matter your bankroll strategy or game selection process.

Sunday Update: Players who have gained traction after the release of inactives include Marcus Murphy (McCoy and Ivory OUT) and Kenneth Dixon who I have already written up below (Ty Mont OUT). Additionally, Carlos Hyde being a healthy scratch gives me hope that Leonard Fournette could have a big day. Isaiah McKenzie could be a sneaky play with the RB issues for the Bills.

Main Slate Cash Game Strategy

Quarterback

Josh Allen ($5,800) has been absolutely unstoppable on the ground as a quarterback. He's run for 335 yards in the last three weeks. While that pace is not sustainable, it's without question that Allen will continue to be able to tack on valuable fantasy points on the ground. Last week against the Jets, he only threw for 200 yards with two interceptions but ran for 101 yards and a touchdown. Against the Lions, who rank 24th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to quarterbacks, Allen should be somewhere in the middle of both statistical outcomes. I don't think he'll top 100 yards rushing against the Lions, but I also think he'll rack up more than six fantasy points through the air. Allen is a home favorite with a three-touchdown total, which doesn't seem optimal, but on this slate, with extremely low totals and Allen accounting for the vast majority of the Bills' yards and touchdowns, it actually puts him in a good spot.
