NFL Spread and O/U Picks: Hunter's Week 4 Best Bets

Last week I threw a little shade at the number of teams having to start backup QBs in Week 4, and apparently that train of thought was just outright misguided. The backups came through in spades , as not only did the three I pointed out last week cover their spreads, they outright won. Case Keenum came in from a multi-year starting hiatus to down the Eagles with a 110 passer rating. Marcus Mariota more or less lucked his way into a 33-31 win against a typically very stout Seahawks defense. But hey, a win's a win and the Commanders noched their first of the year.

Week 3 recap: We unfortunately appear to be off to a slow start to the 2026 season. Three straight losing weeks is not great. Since 2021, or my first year posting picks, I’ve been 54.26% on sides and 60.13% on unders. Through 3 weeks, we are 4-8 on sides and 1-4 on unders. I’d expect some regression on both soon, especially considering last week we went 1-3 on sides with ‘our side’ losing the turnover battle 10-2(!).
