Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 1: Dulcich Has Our Attention

We finally made it. But while you’re looking over your almost-finalized roster before Week 1, something feels…off. You’re realizing that your season-starting matchup for your TE1 is horrible. Or, potentially, you even punted the position altogether. I’m here to help.

For streaming purposes, 4for4's Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) remains one of our primary tools for evaluating weekly matchup strength. Through Week 3, some teams are upgraded or downgraded based on offseason acquisitions and losses, so these early numbers should be treated more as a supporting piece than gospel. Once current-season data begins taking over, we'll lean more heavily into the matchup side of things.

Targets, routes, offensive environment, and prior efficiency will all factor into our selections as well. We'll also occasionally reference how often these players actually provided usable fantasy performances last season; a TE1 finish here or a top-six week there can tell us more than staring at a season-long point total.

To provide advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo fantasy leagues.

Top Tight End Streaming Picks

Greg Dulcich @ Raiders (11%)

We've spent much of the offseason trying to make heads or tails of Greg Dulcich's late-2025 flashes, and Week 1 will finally give us another much-needed data point.

Dulcich spent the first seven weeks of last season on Miami's practice squad before eventually playing his way into a meaningful role. Over the final five games, he caught 16 of 18 targets for 222 yards and a touchdown, finishing among the top 10 tight ends in receiving yards from Week 14 onward. His production wasn't limited to underneath checkdowns, either. More than 21% of his targets produced gains of at least 20 yards, and he recorded a 20-plus-yard reception in every game from Week 13 through the end of the season.

That production carried into the offseason, where beat reports repeatedly highlighted Dulcich as one of Malik Willis' favorite targets. Miami also has 240 available targets from last year's offense, including 69 from the tight end position, and the rest of its remodeled TE room doesn't offer an obvious challenger for the primary receiving job. The Dolphins prioritized bringing Dulcich back while letting most of the rest of the offense walk after his late-season performance, giving us several reasons to believe this role has staying power.

The Raiders aren't a matchup we're aggressively targeting, ranking 10th in preseason TE aFPA, and the 40.5-point game total isn't particularly exciting. That's fine. Dulcich is an opportunity play first and a matchup play second. If the routes and targets match what we've heard all summer, he has a chance to graduate from streamer to weekly consideration in deeper leagues.
