Week 5 NFL Player Prop Bets: Best Bets from Connor Allen
One of these weeks, we are going to hit, and hit big. It just wasn't last week. It was another comedy of plays going sideways with the Cowboys putting up 40 points on the Packers and busting our Javonte Williams under after he had just 16 rushing yards in the first half. Darren Waller racked up 3 catches on just 10 total routes and kind of looked good? The Vikings threw the ball 46 times, and Jordan Addison still barely went over his receptions prop with a busted 80-yard TD, crushing us. For what it's worth, the Vikings didn't throw the ball more than 43 times all of last season despite being a league leader in PROE. Kyler Murray had 4 carries for 12 yards before ripping a 25-yarder on a busted containment from the Seahawks late in the game. We still came out of the week slightly down, but any time things have a chance to get weird, they seem to be early on.
Luckily, we started Week 5 off with a nice win on Christian McCaffrey's rushing under at 62.5. The game went to OT, he had 22 carries, and 16 of his 57 rushing yards came on 2 carries in a 2-minute drill before halftime with the Rams sitting back. CMC continued to be brutally inefficient, and the Niners basically stopped running the ball to close out the game. Feels good to start the week off on the right foot.
