Players to Target in Every Round of Fantasy Football Drafts

Depending on your league calendar, fantasy draft season is either right around the corner or staring you right in the face. That is, unless you’re equally as invested in best ball leagues, which means you are already deep in the thick of things. Through dozens and dozens of drafts to this point in the summer, there are a number of names I try to queue up whenever possible at their current average draft position (ADP) and attack all the more aggressively when they slip past that cost.

Below, I’m going to break down one option in each round that I would love to have on my squad, depending on what type of build I’m going for. Let’s dig into the exercise.

Round 2: WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

There are a slew of very good wide receivers going this highly in the draft, and you can honestly just take your pick of your favorite option, depending on where you are in the draft order. I’m going with Amon-Ra St. Brown when he slides into the middle or late second round. Though he doesn’t have quite the explosiveness as Jaylen Waddle or the relatively unknown upside of Garrett Wilson, he also has a lot of paths to an astronomical target share and quite a lot of touchdown regression to boot.
