UFC Fight Night Kattar vs Emmett: 4 Props to Target at PrizePicks

UFC Fight Night comes to Austin, Texas headlined by a featherweight matchup between Calvin Kattar and Josh Emmett. The winner of this fight could position themself to be in line for the next title shot. Other fights on this card offer betting lines with wide margins which should create opportunities to cash in on some props.

Jasmine Jasudavicius over 1.5 takedowns

Jasudavicius comes into this bout as a moderate favorite at -255. At 33 years old with eight fights under her belt, Jasudavicius got a late start in MMA. With wins in both her UFC appearances, Jasmine is entering her physical prime and starting to mix new skills into her game. With both of her fights going to a decision, this fight projects to do the same. Jasudavicius is averaging three takedowns per 15 minutes against a grappler in Natalia Silva. Silva has five wins by armbar and aims to contend this fight on the ground. Jasudavicius is the bigger, more athletic girl in a fight that projects to be contested on the ground over 15 minutes making this prop prime to hit.

Adrian Yanez over 91.5 fantasy points

As the son of a boxer, Yanez offers some of the best hands on this card. He also offers a high output of 6.35 strikes per minute. The UFC seems to be taking it slow with Yanez as he is seemingly getting a step down in competition against Tony Kelley. Kelley has a mixed skill set with a bit of a traditional karate stance. One thing Kelley has proved is that he is willing to mix it up and that should play into the strength of Yanez. Yanez’s crisp boxing should offer ko potential to get a stoppage score in the opening rounds while his high output should run up scores should the fight go the distance.

Gregory Rodrigues over 10 minutes

Both Rodrigues and his opponent Julian Marquez come into this match with average fight times over the 10-minute mark in the octagon. While Marquez is dangerous early and a good bet to finish when he wins, Rodrigues is a durable fighter and should be able to weather the early storm with his grappling. I expect Marquez to run out of gas after two rounds and could see either Rodrigues getting a finish in the third or this fight going to a decision.

Kyle Daukas over 1.5 takedowns

This projects as another fight that could be contended on the ground and go the full 15 minutes. Daukas faces a world-class grappler in Roman Dolidze. Daukas has also averaged seven takedown attempts over his last five fights. While Phil Hawes was able to shut out Daukas’ on takedowns, he was able to land nine in the other four events. Dolidze has a tendency to fade as fights wear on and that could lead him to give up takedowns and be content to challenge Daukas on the ground. Again, this is a matter of matching fighter tendencies with a matchup that projects to go the distance.
