NBA Player Prop Bets: Tyrese Haliburton, King of Kings

Friday presents us with an eight-game slate as the last Friday before next week’s trade deadline. With so many players likely auditioning for a new role and some injury news to watch, be sure to stay on top of line movement throughout the afternoon. My three favorite player props are outlined below.

Today’s NBA Player Prop Bets (February 3, 2023)

Tyrese Haliburton Over 20.5 Points (-102 at FanDuel)

If you’re wondering how happy I am to be able to write up Tyrese Haliburton again… I am absolutely levitating, especially with Friday being a revenge spot against his former team, the Kings.

In his return from injury, Haliburton saw a full workload, playing 36 minutes en route to a 26-point, 12-assist outing. The workload comes as no surprise as he had been a full participant in practice for the few days leading up to the game, which should also instill optimism that he won’t see a massive reduction in minutes on tonight’s second leg of the back-to-back.

In his first game back last night, Haliburton posted an absurd 35.4% usage rate, potentially forecasting what’s to come in the second half of the season after leading starters with a 24.0% usage rate prior to his injury. Against an up-tempo Kings team with little resistance at the point guard position, Haliburton is set up as one of the best overall plays on Friday’s slate.
