Streaming Tight Ends: Week 6 Targets
Now that we are a little over a month into the fantasy football season, we're beginning to accrue enough data points to stream onesie positions with utmost confidence. With our priors strengthening, we can become more confident in exactly what defenses we should be targeting and why. In our case here, teams that have consistently been a sieve to the tight end position will give us clues as to who we should be aiming for off of the waiver wire.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season continues to progress and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can actually implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Week 5 Review
We had a good showing from our top options last week, while none of our boom-or-bust deeper play options hit which is bound to happen from time to time. Week 6 presents us with our first round of bye weeks so we know we’re really into the meat of the season, making things a little tougher on those of us who have been gleefully streaming the position up until now.
