Connor Allen: 4 Week 13 Player Props I'm Betting

As the legalization of sports betting continues to explode, more and more people are diving into a new way of speculating on sports. For those just starting off, I broke down some of the basics in my gambling 101 piece. Among every category of bets, player props remain the most beatable in the long run. Last year, I hit 59% of my bets for +35 units on the season. The two years prior were much of the same, hitting 57% and 58%, respectively, of my player props for profitable seasons. Week 12 Recap: It wasn’t our best, it certainly wasn’t our worst, but in the end, it was another profitable week of prop bets. Week 12 marked my ninth straight profitable week. While I can’t complain about profit, there were still some frustrating losses. Mark Andrews caught just 4-of-10 passes thrown his way, missing a plus-money bet on over 4.5 receptions narrowly. The Eagles decided to skew a bit pass-heavier than they have in weeks past and Jalen Hurts narrowly avoided two interceptions late in the game that would have kept him under our bet of 27.5 pass attempts. Somehow Jalen Reagor recorded a season-high in target share, leading the team in targets with seven and still only parlayed that into 31 receiving yards. Imagine targeting Jalen Reagor seven times in a game. Yikes. Unfortunately, that was more than our bet of under 20.5 yards. With Week 12 in the rearview mirror, it’s on to Week 13…
