NBA Player Prop Bets: Fading the Unpredictable Nets

Our hand is slightly forced with only one game on tonight’s slate. The news of James Harden being upgraded from out to doubtful this morning means we do not know what to expect from the Brooklyn Nets. With Kyrie Irving already declared out for Game 5, Brooklyn could roll into tonight’s best-of-three series without their star-studded backcourt. This presents us with an interesting scenario to dissect.

Since the creation of the Brooklyn Nets superteam, Kevin Durant has played in only five games without his star counterparts. In these contests, he averaged just under 34 points per game while shooting a ridiculous 63% from the field. The Nets won four of these games by an average of nearly 10 points. However, most of their opponents were not playoff-caliber teams, to say the least. The combination of Irving and Harden contributed to 45.9 points, 12.2 assists and 12.0 rebounds per game for the Nets over these playoffs—an astronomical amount of production to make up for. I’m interested to see how rookie coach Steve Nash reacts in terms of playing time and offensive/defensive gameplan, but fully expect Durant to carry a heavy burden tonight. On a limited slate, 4for4’s NBA Player Prop Tool could be the key to unlocking value in your picks today!
