IDP Waiver Wire: Week 10 Pickups and Matchup Plays

Well, it's perfect timing that Bohemian Rhapsody came out this week, because the theme of this week's IDPs was "Another One Bites the Dust". Christian Kirksey and Sean Lee both went down with injuries this past week. The last few weeks have been brutal with injuries and byes, and we lose another four teams in Week 10 - Baltimore, Denver, Houston and Minnesota. You'll be without the services of CJ Mosley, Todd Davis, Bernardrick McKinney, JJ Watt, Danielle Hunter and Harrison Smith, just to name a few. There are some guys to target on the wire this week, so let's take a look at who can help your squad in Week 11.

Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Targets

Defensive Back

TJ McDonald, FS, Miami Dolphins (62 snaps/94 percent)

I really don't know what to make of Reshad Jones, as he took himself off the field and played in just 10 snaps. Although he's playing more free safety, he's still around the ball making plays. McDonald ended up leading the team in tackles against the Bears and produced a big INT. McDonald has recorded double-digit fantasy points in three of the last four games and is worth an add where you're starting two or more DBs.

Desmond King, CB, Los Angeles Chargers (65 snaps/80 percent)

King continues to be a viable IDP starter in CB-premium and DB leagues. He now has three straight games of 14 or more fantasy points - resulting in .35 points per snap in that span. He's been thrown at 37 times and is making a play on the ball 24 percent of the time he's targeted.

Eric Murray, SS, Kansas City Chiefs (75 snaps/100 percent)

I thought it would be Jordan Lucas, but it's Eric Murray who's now filling in for Eric Berry. Murray ended up playing 23 snaps near the line of scrimmage against Cleveland and ended up recording seven tackles (six solos). He also played in all 75 defensive snaps, so he's getting usage all over the field. He's appeared in 70 or more snaps over the last two games and has registered an 8.1 percent tackle rate - resulting in 12 tackles (11 solos).
