DraftKings Week 7 GPP Breakdown
In terms of salary allocation between RB and WR, Week 7 is setting up as a polar opposite of Week 6. There are a plethora of inexpensive RB values, while numerous high-end WRs have plus-matchups. While the ultra-contrarian strategy would then be to pay up at RB and down at WR, you can take advantage of where the value is at each position and still attain unique roster construction by simply not combining a bunch of players that aren't priced at either extreme of the salary spectrum. We project the two highest owned QBs, four highest owned WRs, and the highest owned TE to all cost $7,200 or more. Since the top two RBs in projected ownership both cost $4,300 or less, the studs-and-scrubs approach to roster construction will likely be prominent this week. Employing a balanced approach in terms of player exposure and roster construction could pay dividends.
A few things to keep in mind: the players listed below are those I'm in favor of having more exposure to than the field, one chalk play usually won't hurt you at RB, and QB ownership tends to be flatter than that of other positions.

QB
Marcus Mariota $6,000 vs. IND
Mariota is a home favorite with an implied total of 25.5 — 4.3 points higher than the team’s season point per game average — and will face a Colts defense ranked 26th in QB aFPA. As he was last week, Mariota makes for an excellent leverage play off DeMarco Murray.
Kirk Cousins $5,900 @ DET
Cousins has an implied total of 24.25 despite playing on the road because he’s going against a Lions defense that ranks dead last in QB aFPA and just gave up Case Keenum’s second career 300-yards, three-TD game in 21 starts.
