Niche Site (Yahoo!, FantasyAces, DraftDay) Week 12 Main Slate & Thanksgiving Slate Breakdown

Below is a breakdown of general strategy on Yahoo!, DraftDay, and FantasyAces. These niche sites offer DFS players the opportunity to "shop around" for the best pricing on a player they may want exposure to in a particular week. Players who offer value because their price is vastly different from the Big 2 sites will be pointed out below.

Thanksgiving Slate

Yahoo!

One notable difference here is that Ezekiel Elliott ($41) costs more than LeVeon Bell ($39). Elliott has the slight edge in matchup (the Redskins are 22nd in RB aFPA, the Colts 18th), but Bell’s receiving upside is unmatched — he averages 9.3 targets per game. Unlike the big 2 sites, Dez Bryant ($24) is priced outside the top-three here. He put up a 7-102 line in his last game against Washington. Adam Thielen ($13) comes at a large discount relative to FanDuel. He’s averaging 4-62.2-0.5 over his last six games.

FantasyAces

Kirk Cousins ($6,600) is a solid bargain priced below Matthew Stafford ($6,650). Cousins has 19+ points in eight of his last nine games. Frank Gore ($4,700) being priced below Robert Kelley ($4,750). With Andrew Luck likely to miss this week’s game, Gore will likely be the centerpiece of the offense. He took wildcat snaps last week. Donte Moncrief ($4,500) is the WR7 here, compared to the WR4 on FanDuel and WR5 on DraftKings, but the QB situation is a concern. Cole Beasley ($4,300) is priced as the WR11 here, compared to the WR6 on FanDuel and WR8 on DraftKings. If Dez Bryant struggles with Josh Norman, Beasley would be in line to benefit. Eric Ebron is priced as the TE4 here, compared to the TE2 on both FanDuel and DraftKings. Ebron has double-digit points in each of his last three games and the Vikings rank 21st in TE aFPA. The Vikings are priced as the DST4 here, a discount relative to the big 2 sites where they’re in the top-two. Although they’re a road underdog, the Vikings are the best real-life defense on the slate and are playing in the game with the lowest over/under (42.5).

DraftDay

One major difference between DraftDay and the big 2 sites is that Matthew Stafford ($12,850) is by far the cheapest QB (beside Scott Tolzein). Stafford is a home favorite and does have TD upside, so I like him as a contrarian play. Frank Gore (10,300) comes at a discount relative to Rob Kelley. Dez Bryant ($12,800) is priced fifth here compared to third on the big 2 sites. The Cowboys DFS ($5,000) comes at a discount relative to the other sites, and they are in a good spot as seven-point home favorites.

Yahoo! Main Slate

QB

Yahoo is giving us a discount on Philip Rivers ($29), who is priced the same as Ryan Tannehill and Carson Palmer, and below Colin Kaepernick. Rivers always has 300-yard, three-TD upside unless he’s facing a truly elite defense, which the Texans are not.

RB

DeMarco Murray ($32) is cheaper here relative to the other top backs than he is on the big 2 sites — he’s priced as the RB4 here, but the RB2 on DraftKings and RB3 on FanDuel. Rashad Jennings ($20) also has a relatively favorable price tag here against the hapless Browns.
