NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Los Angeles Rams

Ted Ginn caught all 6 of his targets for 87 yards in the Saints' Week 11 win over Washington. He added 12 yards on 1 carry as he posted one of his best overall games of the season. Ranked as our No. 40 WR for Sunday, view Ginn as a WR4 when the Saints visit the Rams. The Rams rank seventh against fantasy receivers this season, so Ginn is nothing more than a boom-or-bust option this weekend. There are safer options on the board if you're looking for a one-game flier.

Week 11 vs. Washington

Ted Ginn caught 1 target for only 3 yards in the Saints' Week 10 win over the Bills. Drew Brees only attempted 5 passes in the second half as the Saints got up big. Unfortunately, for any owner who rolled the dice on Ginn, Michael Thomas saw the majority of targets in the passing game as New Orleans gashed Buffalo on the ground throughout the day.

Ginn should have a bigger role on Sunday against a Washington defense ranked seventh versus receivers. Ranked as our No. 31 WR, Ginn is a FLEX option only.

Week 10 at Buffalo Bills

Ted Ginn caught 4-of-5 targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in the Saints’ Week 9 victory over the Bucs. Ginn’s touchdown was a 36-yarder in which he got behind the defense. Receptions aren’t there, as he has 4 or fewer receptions in every game but one this season. Still, it was the fourth consecutive game in which he has posted over 50 yards receiving.

While Ginn has been a decent streaming option in recent weeks, he is our No. 32 ranked WR for Week 10. He’s a flex option only.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Ted Ginn caught 2-of-4 passes for 68 yards in the Saints' Week 8 win over the Bears. His 4 targets were behind only Michael Thomas and Mark Ingram.

Even with Willie Snead active, Ginn remains the Saints' No. 2 receiver behind Thomas. He remains dependent on big plays (53 of his 68 yards last Sunday came on one deep pass), but Ginn remains in the WR3/Flex mix.

Ranked as our No. 26 WR for Week 9, Ginn has a great matchup on Sunday when the Saints host the Bucs. Tampa Bay ranks dead last against fantasy wide receivers and has zero pass rush, so Drew Brees should have plenty of time to find open receivers throughout the day.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Chicago Bears

Ted Ginn caught 7-of-7 targets for 141 yards in the Saints' Week 7 win over the Packers. With Willie Snead inactive, Ginn racked up the second-most receiving yards of his career. He now has 207 yards over his past two games and is suddenly on the fantasy radar. With Snead still banged-up, view Ginn as a FLEX play for Sunday when the Saints host the Bears. He is our No. 25 ranked WR in PPR formats for Week 8.

Week 7 at Green Bay Packers

Ted Ginn caught all 4 of his targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Saints’ Week 6 win over the Lions. It was Ginn’s best performance with the Saints and he does have 2 touchdowns in his last three games, but he’s nothing more than a weekly dart throw. Ranked as our No. 40 WR for Week 7, avoid Ginn when the Saints head up to Wisconsin this Sunday to play the Packers.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Detroit Lions

Ted Ginn caught both of his targets for 25 yards and rushed once for 9 yards in the Saints’ Week 4 win over the Dolphins in London. One would have thought Ginn would have had a bigger day with Willie Snead sidelined with a hamstring injury. Instead, he reminded fantasy owners why he’s a risky play. Ranked as our WR51 for Week 6, avoid Ginn on Sunday.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Carolina Panthers

Ted Ginn caught 3-of-6 targets for 24 yards in the Saints’ Week 2 loss to the Patriots. It was a second disappointing week for owners who rolled the dice on Ginn. He did have 2 targets in the end zone and was tackled inside the 5-yard line once, but the results weren’t there in the end. Ranked as our WR51 for Week 3, avoid Ginn against the Panthers this Sunday.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. New England Patriots

Ted Ginn caught 4-of-5 targets for 53 yards in the Saints’ Week 1 loss to the Vikings. His highlight came on a 27-yard catch against Minnesota corner Terence Newman. Ginn also ran once for 5 yards, but the Saints couldn’t get much done offensively against the Vikings’ stout defense.

The Saints host the Patriots in Week 2 and the game has the highest over/under in Vegas at 56.5 points. Still, even though the game has shootout written all over it, Ginn is our WR36 this week. View him as a WR4 only.

NO WR Ted Ginn - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Minnesota Vikings

In his final season in Carolina, Ted Ginn caught 54 passes for 752 yards and four touchdowns. He signed with the Saints this offseason and with Brandin Cooks (trade/New England) no longer around, immediately fills the void of vertical threat.

Ginn was heavily involved with the first-team offense during the preseason, but Michael Thomas remains Drew Brees’ go-to target. We have Ginn ranked as our WR29 in Week 1, so he does have appeal as a FLEX option against the Vikings in Week 1.
