Week 17 at Denver Broncos

Patrick Mahomes will make his NFL debut this week. Mahomes is a promising young QB who was taken 10th overall in the draft and had an impressive preseason. There's a lot to like about Mahomes in the future, but fantasy owners should be skeptical about him this week.

Not only is it his first ever real NFL game, but he's going against one of the toughest secondaries in football. And the fact the Chiefs are starting him means he may be playing with other backup players as well.

Mahomes is intriguing, but this matchup and the circumstances make him hard to trust in fantasy. He's not a great option this week.
