TB WR Mike Evans - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Mike Evans went 6-90-1 last week as his strong season continues. He's been a lone bright spot for Tampa Bay in 2018 as he's third in the league in receiving yards (a career-best 1,418). He gets a favorable matchup against the Falcons this week and should continue to be trusted as a strong WR1.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Dallas Cowboys

Mike Evans caught four of his nine targets for 121 yards, which is pretty incredible considering Jameis Winston finished with 157 total passing yards. So Evans accounted or 77 percent of Winston's yards. Evans now has seven 100-yard games on the season as he's second in the league in overall receiving yards.

He might struggle a bit this week, however, as the Cowboys are allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing wideouts. Dallas has held entire receiving groups to under 100 yards in five games this season. Evans is more of a WR2 this week against the Cowboys.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Baltimore Ravens

Mike Evans led the Bucs in receiving last week finishing with 86 yards on four receptions. He's now had at least 80 yards in eight of his 13 starts this season. But while he's getting decent yards, Evans has scored just twice in his last 10 outings. There are a lot of mouths to feed in Tampa Bay, which has hurt Evans' value.

Making matters worse, he gets a tough matchup this week against the Ravens who are allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wideouts. Baltimore has held WRs scoreless in three straight games, making Evans more of a WR2 this week.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. New Orleans Saints

Mike Evans caught four of his six targets for 48 yards last week. It was his second-lowest output of the season, and just the second time he's finished below 50 yards. Before that performance, he had four 100-yard games in his last six outings, so we're not too concerned with the one bad stat line.

He should bounce back this week in a favorable matchup against the Saints. He went off against them in Week 1, catching seven passes for 147 yards and a touchdown. He might not get quite that this week, but he has a higher ceiling than most. We like him just outside of WR1 range as a strong WR2.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Carolina Panthers

Mike Evans led the Bucs with 116 receiving yards on six receptions last week. It was his sixth 100-yard game of the season, and second in a row. Despite all of the receiving threats in Tampa Bay, and all of the QB changes, Evans has been able to find success consistently this season.

One of the few times he played poorly however, was against the Panthers earlier this season when he had a season-low 16 yards. We expect him to do much better this week, especially since the Panthers have been a favorable matchup for most opponents. He can be viewed as a strong WR2 choice.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Mike Evans had his fifth 100-yard game of the season last week while catching his fifth touchdown. He's now matched last season's TD total and he's on pace to break his yards from last season as well.

Expect his strong season to continue this week in a fairly favorable matchup vs. the 49ers. With Jameis Winston back at QB, Evans should get plenty of targets, making him a lower-end WR1 option.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at New York Giants

Mike Evans had at least six catches in six of his first seven games this season, but has caught just four total passes in his last two games combined. He did finish above 50 yards last week, but it's concerning to see him not be as involved as a receiver. He's talented, but Tampa Bay has proven this season that they have a lot of other weapons to get involved more than just Evans.

He gets a tough matchup this week vs. the Giants as New York has allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season. With his poorer performances and the tough matchup, Evans is more of a WR2 choice in Week 11.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Washington Redskins

Mike Evans had an odd game last week, finishing with just one catch for 16 yards. What makes it odd is the fact he received 10 targets in the contest. It's rare you'll see a player as talented as Evans get so many looks and finish with such little production. This game is just a weird fluke.

He gets a solid matchup this week against the Redskins, where he should be able to bounce back from his poor effort a week ago. We like Evans as a low-end WR1 considering he should get plenty of looks.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Carolina Panthers

Mike Evans exploded last week seeing 13 targets while catching six passes for a season-high 179 yards. He also caught a touchdown, giving him four on the season. This was Evans' fourth 100-yard game of the year, and he's now had at least four receptions and 50 yards in every game.

Evans wasn't really impacted much from the Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jameis Winston QB swap, so the new change shouldn't hurt him. He gets a decent matchup against the Panthers this week and can be viewed as a low-end WR1.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Cincinnati Bengals

Mike Evans led the Bucs in targets (11), receptions (7) and yards (107) last week. It was his third 100-yard game of the season, although he failed to score for the third game in a row. Evans has been reliable in 2018, putting up at least four catches and 50 yards each week.

He gets a favorable matchup this week against the Bengals who are allowing the fourth-most receiving yards per game (310.9) this season. Evans can be viewed as a low-end WR1 option vs. Cincinnati in Week 8.
