Week 1 vs. New York Giants
With Tony Romo out, it's Dak Prescott's team for now. The Cowboys are showing a lot of confidence in the rookie who was very good in preseason games, but what choice do they really have? They brought in Mark Sanchez, but he won't play unless Prescott gets hurt or really bombs the first couple weeks.

No doubt Dallas has one of the best offensive lines in football and some weapons for Prescott to have some success, but he is a rookie and we will find out if he plays like one.

It is a good matchup for Week 1 as the Cowboys open at home against a Giants defense that was 26th in aFPA to quarterbacks in 2015. He won't be in anyone's starting lineup this week, but he is rated higher than some veteran quarterbacks as a low-end QB2. Keep him on the bench, but if he shows potential after Week 1, he could be a good backup.
