Scouting report

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Jacksonville Jaguars
Even though Deshaun Watson threw for over 300 yards versus Green Bay two weeks ago, Will Fuller was limited to three receptions for 35 yards. He was able to score a garbage time TD, the fifth straight game he’s found paydirt. In October at home against the Jaguars, he registered 58 yards and, you guessed it, a score. Be sure Fuller is added back to your starting lineup.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Green Bay Packers
With Deshaun Watson throwing for over 300 yards yet again last week against the Titans, Will Fuller had another big day. On a team-leading 11 targets, he collected six grabs for 123 yards and a TD. He has scored in four straight and been over the century mark in two of those contests. Even though the Packers are No. 14 against the pass Fuller needs to remain in your starting lineup.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Tennessee Titans
Versus Jacksonville last week, Will Fuller snagged four passes for 58 yards and scored for the third time this season – all in the last three weeks. Brandin Cooks was the featured receiver in the win, with Randall Cobb also contributing six catches. Houston’s passing attack is better with Fuller spreading the defense and he has a good matchup against the Titans pass defense. Keep on starting the Texans WR.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Versus the Vikings last week, Will Fuller led the Texans with seven targets, six grabs and 108 yards – he also scored for the second straight week. Since returning from a bothered hamstring the past two contests Fuller has posted 10 receptions and 162 yards. He has become Deshaun Watson’s top option and the duo have a great matchup on Sunday versus a Jacksonville defense that’s allowing 400 total yards per game. Go ahead and keep on starting Fuller.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Minnesota Vikings
After being slowed by a hamstring issue the previous week, Will Fuller was back on the field at Pittsburgh last week. In the loss he finished with four grabs for 54 yards and found paydirt for the first time this season. The Steelers controlled the clock, which limited the Texans to just 42 offensive snaps. Things should be different on Sunday versus a porous Vikings defense. Consider Fuller a WR2 option.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Pittsburgh Steelers
After posting good numbers in the opener, Will Fuller was apparently slowed with a hamstring injury last week after receiving just one rushing attempt. Hamstring injuries have plagued Fuller in the past, but he is practicing this week, which is a good sign he’ll be good to go on Sunday. Fuller had a strong Week 1, so look for him to have a bounce-back performance at Pittsburgh.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Baltimore Ravens
Without DeAndre Johnson, it appears Will Fuller will be Deshaun Watson’s new favorite target. In the opening week loss at Kansas City Fuller received 10 targets (no other pass catcher received more than five), resulting in eight catches for 112 yards. Watson already had a good rapport with Fuller while fellow WR Brandin Cooks is a newcomer to the team. In any event, look for Fuller to continue to be the No. 1 option and is considered a WR2 play in the Texans home opener.
