NYJ QB Mike White - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Seattle Seahawks
Mike White has been physically cleared to return and Zach Wilson has been relegated to third string again. White has played in three games this season and averaged 317 passing yards per game. He threw three touchdowns in one game, two inteceptions in another game and had a third game where he threw zero touchdowns and interceptions.

The Jets hit the road and visit Seattle who is ranked 15th in aFPA to quarterbacks. White has shown he can put up good fantasy numbers in the NFL so this could be sneaky waiver wire pickup if you don't have any other choices.

White only ranks a QB2 for Week 17 so it is preferred he stays on the bench, but it all depends on your quarterback situation.

NYJ QB Mike White - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Buffalo Bills
Mike White made his second start replacing Zach Wilson and didn't fare as good as the first start. He did throw for 369 yards but that took 57 pass attempts. He threw zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Not quite sold on him from a fantasy standpoint just yet.

White face the Bills who are ranked 16th in aFPA to quarterbacks. He did not play in the first meeting against Buffalo this season.

Rank White as a QB2 for Week 14. Still could be a viable backup but even with a lot of bye weeks, he should remain on the bench.

NYJ QB Mike White - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Minnesota Vikings
Mike White completed 22 of 28 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Bears. More important, White got the confidence of the Jets players and earned the start this week and for the formidable future.

White will face the Vikings next who are ranked 28th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Although this is a good matchup for the Jets, we want to see more from White who was unbelievable his first start last season and then put up a stinker the next time out.

White rates as a QB2 for Week 13 and might be worth picking up for some quarterback depth for the rest of the season.

NYJ QB Mike White - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Chicago Bears

Jets head coach Robert Saleh announced Wednesday that Mike White will start Sunday's game against the Bears. It will probably be a week-to-week decision with veteran Joe Flacco waiting in the wings while first round pick Zach Wilson sits and watches.

White has completed 66.7% of his passes in his short career with five touchdown passes and eight interceptions. He will face a Bears defense that is ranked 23rd in aFPA to quarterbacks.

White should probably stay on the waiver wire for now because he has never really shown he can be a consistent NFL quarterback and this run as the starter could be short-lived.
