JAX QB Mike Glennon - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Indianapolis Colts
The Jaguars rotating QBs was back to Mike Glennon last week versus the Bears. He finished with 211 yards with two TDs and two INTS and will remain the starter for the finale on Sunday. This season Glennon has completed 62 percent of his attempts and thrown for five scores. In the Week 1 win over the Colts Gardner Minshew passed for three scores but there is no reason for you to start Glennon in the rematch.

JAX QB Mike Glennon - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Tennessee Titans
In the loss at Minnesota last week, Mike Glennon threw for 280 yards and a TD but his interception in overtime led to the Vikings game-winning field goal. He connected with eight different pass catchers and has quickly built a good rapport with rookie Collin Johnson, who has caught four passes in both of Glennon’s starts. In the Week 2 loss at Tennessee, Gardner Minshew had a big day, throwing for over 300 yards and three scores, and Baker Mayfield just shredded the Titans pass defense last week. However, Glennon should only be used as a QB2 option.

JAX QB Mike Glennon - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Minnesota Vikings
In his first start as a Jaguar, Mike Glennon nearly got his team to overtime versus the Browns, throwing for 235 yards and two scores in the loss. While his two-point conversion pass fell incomplete the offense had a better rhythm with the veteran at the helm. Even though he’ll be facing the Vikings' eighth-worst pass defense on Sunday, Glennon is just a QB2 option.

JAX QB Mike Glennon - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Cleveland Browns
Mike Glennon will be making his Jaguars debut on Sunday, as the veteran will be the third QB the team has used this season. His last meaningful action was in '17 with the Bears when he appeared in four games, throwing four TDs and five picks. Even though the Browns are No 20 against the pass there’s no way you should be starting Glennon in this critical week of your fantasy season.

JAX QB Mike Glennon - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Houston Texans
With Gardner Minshew out this week due to hand injuries, Mike Glennon will be under center for the Jaguars. The veteran hasn’t had significant playing time since 2017 with Chicago. With the bye week, all of his weapons will be available and last month against the Texans Minshew attempted a season-high 49 passes for just over 300 yards with two scores. However, look for a more balanced approach in the rematch, so Glennon should only be started if you’re out of other QB options.

CHI QB Mike Glennon - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Green Bay Packers

Mike Glennon continued his poor season last week by barely getting over 100 yards passing (101) with just 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Through three games this season, Glennon has more turnovers (4) than scores (3) and hasn't had a multi-touchdown game yet.

Glennon is not only one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the league, but he also has arguably the worst receiving corps as well. There's really no benefit to playing him Thursday night against the Packers. Not only is he a bad play any week, but the Packers have actually had a pretty solid pass defense so far this season. Glennon is one of the worst QB options available.

CHI QB Mike Glennon - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Mike Glennon is third in the league in pass attempts (excluding Brian Hoyer, who played an extra game), but hasn't been able to turn that high volume into fantasy production. He did have 300 passing yards last week, but only came away with 1 touchdown, while turning it over 3 times.

Glennon has been awful through his first two games, and his only appeal in fantasy is the fact he throws the ball so much. Perhaps one of these games he'll do enough to warrant a fantasy start, but he's not really worth it considering the risk. He's one of the poorer options at QB this week.
