Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) ruled OUT Week 9

Texans rookie wide receiver Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially questionable and is regarded as a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos.

If Coutee can't go, the Texans can use running back Tyler Ervin as his replacement in the slot.

UPDATE: Coutee has been downgraded to out.

Fantasy Impact: 

The Texans are really thin at receiver with Will Fuller (ACL) out for the year, Coutee out and Demaryius Thomas traded to the team just this week. DeAndre Hopkins could easily see his largest target share of the year in Denver.

Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 9. If Coutee can’t play, Demaryius Thomas may be thrust into a big role right away. Coutee will probably play, but we’ll monitor this throughout the weekend.

Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Coutee seems to be on track to play in Week 9. If he remains in the slot, he’ll have his hands full with Chris Harris.

Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) took limited practice reps Wednesday. It looks like Coutee will return this week. It’s doubtful that Demaryius Thomas will have a big role in his first game with the Texans, so Coutee should be the No. 2 option in the passing game behind DeAndre Hopkins.
