There's little news on Lions running back Jahvid Best, who missed his third game with a concussion and declined interview requests in the locker room. Schwartz said only that Best did not travel to Chicago as a matter of protocol.

"We're status quo with that," Schwartz said. "When we get clearance from the doctors, we'll get him back. But he needs to be symptom-free before we get clearance from the doctors."

Fantasy Impact:

It doesn't seem like Best is going to be back anytime soon, but the fact he's not on IR perhaps indicates they expect him back this season. Until then, Maurice Morris is just an ok play in his place. The Lions attempted 63 passes last week after falling behind to the Bears.
