BAL TE Isaiah Likely - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Carolina Panthers

Isaiah Likely has filled in admirably for an injured Mark Andrews with touchdowns in each of his last two games. Against the Saints, before the bye last week, Likely only caught one ball, but he was targeted five times and seems to be growing as a part of the offense. With a dearth of healthy options at wide receiver, the Ravens may try to find ways for the young rookie to get more snaps, even with Andrews set to return. It’s too risky to trot him out there with an active Andrews in most leagues, but deeper formats and 2TE leagues should take a gamble on him given the lack of WR options in the offense. We have him ranked as a fringe TE1 this week.

BAL TE Isaiah Likely - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at New Orleans Saints

Isaiah Likely had a great game after Mark Andrews left with an injury, catching six of his seven targets for 77 yard and his first career touchdown in a win over the Buccaneers. The Ravens have to be excited by what they see in their rookie tight end, especially with Andrews dealing with a litany of injuries.

Likely has upside against the Saints this week if Andrews can’t go, as a repeat of his seven targets last Thursday would be in play. However, as a Monday night game, fantasy managers don’t want to be scrambling if Andrews – who is questionable – ends up starting. Likely is worth adding, and he’s great insurance for managers who roster Andrews, but in most leagues, using a more stable option on Sunday would be a safer play.

BAL TE Isaiah Likely - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Cleveland Browns

Isaiah Likely caught two balls for 30 yards last week and he seems to have made himself the primary backup behind Mark Andrews. That's a role with some potential this week against a Browns defense that ranks 18th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. Andrews has missed practice this week with a knee issue, and his status is in question heading into this weekend's divisional tilt. Likely doesn't have fantasy value if Andrews is active, but he's an interesting pivot option if Andrews ends up a late scratch. Managers with Andrews should definitely pick up Likely in case of emergency.
