Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (knee) missed practice again Thursday. Freeman is expected to miss 1-2 more games. Tevin Coleman will serve as the Falcons’ lead back against the Saints. Ito Smith will get some work as well.

Dan Quinn said he's not sure on the timetable with Devonta Freeman coming off knee injury.

Fantasy Impact: 

Freeman aggravated his MCL/PCL injury from last season and reports say he could miss 2-4 weeks. Coleman will get the bulk of the work with Smith also factoring in.

Falcons’ RB Devonta Freeman, ruled out for Sunday’s game against Carolina, is expected to be sidelined two to three weeks with a knee contusion, per source.

Fantasy Impact: 

Coleman should see a sizable increase in his workload during this period. In three games Devonta Freeman missed since the start of 2015, Coleman has averaged 14.5 PPR points in those games. Those would have been borderline RB1 numbers in PPR last season.
