Taylor's season is over after he suffered a right high-ankle sprain during Saturday's loss to the Vikings. As the story said, in a corresponding move, Indianapolis is promoting Wilkins to the 53-man roster, where he joins a backfield corps including Moss and Jackson. Jackson has carried the load before for the Colts when Taylor was out, but the team is likely in evaluation mode so all three backs could factor into the workload.
IND RB Deon Jackson - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 16 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Deon Jackson has had his moments this year, including catching 10 balls back in October against the Jaguars. Still, he looks like he’s in a timeshare with Zack Moss after last week, making him a risky option to bank on in the fantasy playoffs. If Jackson can get the work, the matchup isn’t terrible. The Chargers rank 19th in aFPA to opposing running backs. Still, if you have a more reliable option, it might be best to take a look at this Colts offense without Jonathan Taylor for a week before counting on Jackson. We have him ranked as a low-end flex option at best.
