Scouting report

JAX WR Chris Conley - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 – Chris Conley vs. Indianapolis Colts
In his first season in Jacksonville, Chris Conley finished with career-highs of 47 receptions and 775 yards. In the past two seasons he’s been in the end zone 10 times, with half of those coming with the Jags. The team is rebuilding and no longer have Leonard Fournette to grind it out, so Gardner Minshew could be putting the ball in the air all season. While D.J. Chark is the No. 1 wideout, look for Conley to receive plenty of targets too. However, consider him just a WR3/flex play, at most, on Sunday.

JAX WR Chris Conley - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Even though Jacksonville’s offense had trouble moving the ball for most of the game against the Falcons last week, Chris Conley posted 56 yards and a fourth-quarter score on two catches. He’s been in the end zone three times the past two contests and has five TDs on the season. At Indianapolis in Week 12, Conley finished with 58 yards and should be considered a WR3/flex start on Sunday.

JAX WR Chris Conley - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Atlanta Falcons
In the win over the Raiders last week, Chris Conley caught four passes for 49 yards and two scores, including the game-winner with just 31 seconds remaining. With D.J. Chark out due to injury, Conley saw eight looks and registered his second career multiple-TD outing. Chark should return for Sunday’s affair, which will limit Conley’s targets. He should only be started if you’re limited on WR options, even facing a porous Atlanta pass defense.

JAX WR Chris Conley - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Oakland Raiders
Jacksonville’s offense struggled versus the Chargers last Sunday, with Chris Conley posting just a seven-yard reception on three targets. On the season he is averaging 49 yards and hasn’t been in the end zone in five in a row. If D.J. Chark can’t go this week, that should mean more looks for Dede Westbrook and Conley against a porous Raiders pass defense. Conley makes for a WR3/flex option.

JAX WR Chris Conley - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
The Jaguars QBs attempted 41 passes last week versus Tampa Bay, with Chris Conley receiving five targets, resulting in four grabs for 57 yards. While he hasn’t been in the end zone in four straight, Conley has been productive with 14 grabs for an average of 55 yards the past three contests. However, the Chargers have a good pass defense so he’s just a WR3/flex option.

JAX WR Chris Conley - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Although Nick Foles threw for over 270 yards in the loss to the Titans last week Chris Conley came away with just four grabs for 49 yards on season-most nine targets. In the past three games, he’s averaging four catches for 46 yards and no TDs. Conley will remain in the Jaguars receiving mix, but is competing with D.J. Chark, Dede Westbrook and Leonard Fournette for looks. Tampa Bay has been terrible against the pass this season so Conley should be used as a WR3/flex option.

JAX WR Chris Conley - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Tennessee Titans
Nick Foles was back under center for the Jaguars last week against the Colts, throwing for nearly 300 yards. In the loss, Chris Conley saw eight targets, which led to a season-high-tying six catches for 58 yards. He’s dealing with a sore hamstring but should be good to go in the rematch with Tennessee. Conley registered just two receptions for 30 yards in the win versus the Titans in September and should be considered a WR3/flex play on Sunday.
