DEN QB Brett Rypien - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Arizona Cardinals
Russell Wilson is working through the league's concussion protocol, leaving Brett Rypien as the possible starter for the Broncos Sunday against Arizona. Rypien got the start back in Week 7 and posted a miserable 4.9 yards per attempt with 225 yards and an interception on 46 attempts. The Cardinals are among the easier matchups in the league for opposing quarterbacks, but Rypien has no track record of success as a NFL starter. He is not a starting option for fantasy leagues.

DEN QB Brett Rypien - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at New England Patriots
Making his first NFL start two weeks ago, Brett Rypien got off to a hot start and ended up doing just enough to help his team win against the Jets. He threw for 242 yards and two TDs, but got a bit careless with the ball late, throwing two of his three interceptions in the fourth quarter. Rypien may again get the starting nod on Sunday facing a New England defense that is No. 10 versus the pass. He should only be started if you’re out of QB options.

DEN QB Brett Rypien - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at New England Patriots
Making his first NFL start last Thursday Brett Rypien got off to a hot start and ended up doing just enough to help his team win against the Jets. He threw for 242 yards and two TDs, but got a bit careless with the ball late, throwing two of his three interceptions in the fourth quarter. Rypien will likely again get the starting nod on Sunday facing a New England defense that is No. 10 versus the pass. He should only be started if you’re out of QB options.

DEN QB Brett Rypien - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at New York Jets
After replacing starter Jeff Driskel for the team's final drive last week in the loss to the Bucs Brett Rypien completed eight of nine passes for 53 yards. While his only non-completion was intercepted in the end zone Rypien looked like the better QB, even though he was playing when Denver was far behind. The former Boise State Bronco will get his first NFL start on Thursday night against an average Jets defense. While Driskel may see some action as well, neither QB makes for a good fantasy option.
