SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Washington Commanders

Brandon Aiyuk had a nice day against the Ravens on Monday night, despite it being a difficult offensive performance for San Francisco offense, overall. He finished with six catches on seven targets for 113 yards. It was his sixth 100-yard receiving day of the year, and he continues to build on the best season of his young career.

This week, Aiyuk has a great matchup against a Washington defense that ranks 29th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Expect another reliably busy day for the former Sun Devil against a vulnerable secondary. We have Aiyuk ranked as a fringe-WR1 option and he should be active in all leagues.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Brandon Aiyuk had a quiet game against the Cardinals last week, catching three of his five targets for 37 yards. Aiyuk seems to be a bit more volatile in targets with a full arsenal available in San Francisco, though he’s still getting enough looks to be fantasy relevant, and his six touchdowns this season have really helped offset the inconsistent usage. He had six straight games with double-digit points prior to last week, aided by a four-game scoring streak.

This week, Aiyuk faces a Baltimore defense that ranks seventh in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. In a tough matchup and with so much of the offense running through Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel right now, we have Aiyuk ranked as a WR2 option, instead of in WR1 territory. Temper expectations, but he should still be active in all leagues.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Arizona Cardinals

Brandon Aiyuk caught six of his nine targets last week against the Seahawks, finishing with 126 yards. It was his fifth 100-plus-yard game of the season and although he didn’t find the end zone, he had a touchdown in each of his four preceding games. The 49ers offense is humming along right now and Aiyuk is a big part of it.

This week, Aiyuk faces an Arizona defense that ranks 20th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Start him in a nice matchup as a quality WR2 option. He’s had a high floor and his chances of finding the end zone are always strong in this offense.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Brandon Aiyuk was held to 46 yards last week in a victory over the Eagles, but he caught five of his seven targets and scored his sixth touchdown of the season. Aiyuk now has a touchdown in four straight games and he leads the team with 72 targets on the year. He needs only 88 more yards to tie his career-high in receiving yards in a season.

This week, Aiyuk faces a Seattle defense that ranks eighth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Aiyuk scored on the Seahawks a couple of weeks ago, and with how good this offense has been lately, he’s a must-start in all leagues. We have him ranked as a quality WR2 option this week.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Philadelphia Eagles

Brandon Aiyuk only caught two passes last week in a lopsided victory over the Seahawks, but he still finished with 50 yards and a touchdown. He has now found the end zone in three straight games, after a six-game lull, and the 49ers have rattled off convincing victories in each of them. Aiyuk is just 119 yards away from his second 1,000-yard season.

This week, Aiyuk has a nice matchup against a Philadelphia defense that ranks 31st in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. With the way this San Francisco offense is humming along right now, Aiyuk is a must-start every week, but especially against this vulnerable Eagles secondary. Start him as a solid WR1 option.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Seattle Seahawks

Brandon Aiyuk had a great game last week against the Buccaneers, catching five of his six targets for 156 yards and a touchdown in a 49ers victory. The San Francisco offense seems to be back on track after struggling for a few games, and Aiyuk has now found the end zone in two straight outings.

This week, Aiyuk faces a Seahawks defense that ranks 18th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. With the targets Aiyuk is getting and his ability to produce on a semi-consistent basis, we have him ranked as a solid WR1 option this week in a decent matchup. Start him.

SF WR Brandon Aiyuk - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Brandon Aiyuk had just three catches last week in a blowout victory over the Jaguars, but he scored a touchdown and finished with 55 yards. It was his first touchdown since he scored two in Week 1 of the season. If the game hadn’t been so lopsided, he likely would’ve been closer to his normal targets - he averages 6.9 targets per game this year.

This week, Aiyuk has a nice matchup against a Tampa Bay defense that ranks 30th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. In a great matchup against a team that should theoretically put up more of a fight against them, we have Aiyuk ranked as a solid WR1 option. Fantasy managers should start him in all league formats.
