IDP Waiver Wire Week 8: Top Pickups & Adds
We're on to Week 8, with four more bye-week teams (Texans, Saints, Giants, and 49ers) to navigate. This is when your depth gets tested, and those stale cross-your-fingers-and-hope-they-figure-it-out assets need to be looked at through a different lens.
My intention here is to cater to a wide variety of leagues every week. IDP leagues are like snowflakes, so if you have specific questions, jump into our subscriber Discord, find the IDP channel, and tag me with any questions you have. Some of you play in leagues where all of these players are already owned, and some of you play in IDP leagues where only 3-4 players are rostered on each team, so the players listed below might not even be on your radar; don't be afraid to reach out with specific questions. For now, expect at least one recommendation for shallow, medium, and deep leagues.

IDP Waiver Wire Week 8
Defensive Linemen
Mike Green - Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens lost Tavius Robinson for the season to a pectoral injury, which opens up 70% of the defensive line snaps for Baltimore. It'll mean a small bump for rookie Zion Young, but the biggest beneficiary is second-year edge, Mike Green. Green played a season-high 69% of the snaps in Week 7 against the Bengals. This moves Green from a deep league watch to an option in medium-to-shallow leagues where sacks are at a premium.
Kingsley Enagbare - New York Jets
I liked Kingsley Enagbare when he was with the Packers, and he's always made an impact when given a chance to play meaningful snaps. He's getting that chance right now with the Jets, and he continues to lengthen his leash, solidifying a respectable snap rate each and every week. Rookie David Bailey is rarely coming off the field, but Enagbare has topped 65% of the snaps in five of the six games this season. He's better than average against the run, and he posted three quick pressures (less than 2.5 seconds) in Week 7. He's still more of a medium-to-deeper-league option, but if you're in a tackle-heavy scoring league and need snaps along the defensive line, he's a viable add.
