Indications are that Vince Young will eventually get the thumbs-up to play Sunday against the Dolphins.
Young didn't practice Wednesday, but there was optimism about his recovery. He said the hamstring "feels way better" than it did earlier this week and he hopes to play.
"I want to play, definitely I want to play,'' Young said. "I am taking it easy just to be on the safe side. But at the same time I will be out there, hopefully I'll be out there. … I am a quick healer. I just feel good about the situation.''
According to running back Chris Johnson, Young made up his mind.
"He told me he was going to play,'' Johnson said. "So I expect him to be out there. … I don't think he would lie to me."
