Vikings QB Kyler Murray's status is uncertain because of a concussion, but the play of Carson Wentz sparks optimism.

Fantasy Impact:

Wentz came on and rallied the Vikings to a win over the Packers in Week 1. We all know by now that players in protocol tend to miss the following week's game, at least, although there have been a few who have passed in time. Murray owners should probably expect him to miss Week 2 and have a backup plan ready to go. The Vikings are at the Bears in Week 2 in the early slate of games. Wentz threw three TD passes and added 133 yards in the air. The Bears defense gave up some points to the Panthers in Week 1, so Wentz makes for a nice potential fantasy option for owners who need to pick him up off the wire.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers, who left Sunday’s win over the Colts early, suffered a hamstring injury that is not considered serious, sources say.

Fantasy Impact:

Rapoport went on to say Flowers will have an MRI, but if it was a playoff game, he likely would’ve returned. Flowers is considered day-to-day heading into testing, Rapoport added. Overall it's good news, but owners will want to watch this closely as the week goes on as hamstrings are obviously pretty tricky. The Ravens have an early window game in Week 2 against the Saints at home.

Jets rookie WR Omar Cooper Jr. is believed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain during Sunday's win over the Titans.

Fantasy Impact:

Cooper will undergo an MRI Monday to determine the extent of the injury and how much time he will miss. Cooper hauled in his lone target for 30 yards. Depending on the severity of the injury, Cooper could be a short-term injured reserve candidate. Garrett Wilson (6-79) and Adonai Mitchell (3-60) led the way in the passing game for the Jets while fellow rookie Kenyon Sadiq caught three passes and had a rushing touchdown in the win.

Update: Murray is now out for the remainder of the game.

Fantasy Impact:

Murray took a hard hit about midway through the first quarter as he sliding. Packers cornerback Javon Bullard was flagged for unnecessary roughness as a result. We’ll have more information as it comes in. For now, Carson Wentz is in at quarterback.
