Ty Law agrees to contract with Broncos

NFL Network’s Kara Henderson has confirmed an earlier published report that veteran free agent CB Ty Law has agreed to a contract with the Denver Broncos.

Law, 35, is a 14-year NFL veteran who spent his first 10 seasons in New England and was a part of three Super Bowl teams. Law becomes the latest ex-Patriot to join Broncos first-year coach Josh McDaniels, who was on the Patriots staff from 2001-08.

It’s the second consecutive season Law joins a team midway through the schedule. He signed with the Jets in midstream last season, starting six of the team’s final seven games.
