T.Y. Hilton will play Monday night

T.Y. Hilton will take the field as the Indianapolis Colts attempt to avoid an 0-2 start to the season.

The wideout will be active Monday night versus the New York Jets, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source informed of Hilton's status. Hilton was officially listed as questionable. NBC Sports first reported the news.

Hilton left last week's loss with a bruised knee and did not return. The Colts' No. 1 wideout practiced on limited basis on Saturday, leading coach Chuck Pagano to say Hilton "looked good" and was optimistic he could play Monday.

In Week 1, Hilton led the Colts with seven receptions for 88 receiving yards on 14 targets. In three career games on MNF, Hilton has 14 receptions, 179 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Fantasy Impact:

How hindered the speedy wideout will be is something to monitor early in the contest. If his game-breaking speed is sapped, it could cramp the Colts' offense against Darrelle Revis, Buster Skrine and the rest of the Jets' secondary. Hilton comes with risk tonight and on top of it his presence should also put a dent in Donte Moncrief's fantasy value as Moncrief was expected to start if Hilton was unable to go.
