Torrey Smith's knee injury not serious, day-to-day

Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith is “day to day” after landing on his right knee while trying to catch a pass in the end zone late in Sunday's game.

Although Smith grabbed his right knee and didn't return for the Ravens' final series of a 34-33 loss to the San Diego Chargers, coach John Harbaugh downplayed the severity of the injury Monday and predicted that the former Maryland standout will be preparing for next Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. Smith declined to comment on the injury after the game, but he was limping.

“Torrey really didn't have anything too serious,” Harbaugh said Monday. “I don't even know how to describe it right now. He'll just be getting ready for Miami. I guess I'd call him day to day.”

Fantasy Impact:

Smith caught six passes for 65 yards and two touchdowns against the Chargers. He has seven touchdowns in the past seven games. It looks like good news for owners that he could be ready to go in Week 14. The Ravens will likely need Smith with Marlon Brown going through concussion protocol. Rookie wide receiver Michael Campanaro has missed the past four games with a pulled hamstring, but is expected to be available to play against the Dolphins.
